Established in 1990 by Gary Begley, Saddlery Australia supplies high quality leather, saddlery industry and associated products from H. Leffler & Son to New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
H. Leffler and Son are one of the largest leather and grindery merchants in the southern hemisphere and have been servicing the leather industry for 75 years.
Saddlery Australia also specialises in all types of leather buckles, threads, rivets, needles, leather care products, webbings, snaps, dees and ropes, etc
In addition to this, Saddlery Australia also supplies Brigalow Country Clothing and gift lines, hand crafted bridles, breastplates, reins halters, leads, girths, station saddles, swags, water bags and Edinburgh horse rugs.
Originating in Bathurst, NSW, recent years have seen Saddlery Australia expand operations and is now also provide warehousing facilities in Queensland. Burrum River Saddlery and Saddlery School is located near the sleepy little historic town of Howard in Queensland.
Howard is 20 minutes north of Hervey Bay, just off Fraser Island. Hervey Bay has a regional airport with direct flights available from Sydney and Brisbane daily. Sydney links Hervey Bay with the rest of the country as well as the many overseas visitors taking in the sights of the world heritage listed Fraser Island.
This is an ideal location for a saddlery school as international students and inter-state people have access by air and we are able to collect students from the airport.
Students are encouraged to combine their courses with their annual holidays and visit the many picturesque attractions in this area. ‘Don’t forget the whales’.
